Earning Gold Fast and Easy

So what's the secret in earning gold fast in Dragon Nest Sea? Rough Agates!!!

First of all you need to have a character with decent equips for faster run.
Go to Sanctuary Core Master Difficulty
You can complete the dungeon in 4-6mins with a character with descent equips.
In 1 run i get around 7-12 rough agates, the pouch from board quest and some heraldry plates.
Sell the pouches directly to the npc.. DO NOT OPEN THEM or else youll get crap items.
sell the rough agates on people at the town or register them at the Trading House.
Plates like Life Vitality, Health Plate, Destruction and Magicians Plate and Ultimate Plates will sell for some descent amount of gold.

So there you have it. Its so easy.

Dragon Nest Sea Dark Lair

The new stage "Dark Lair" is now going to be implemented in Dragon Nest Sea. It allows players Lv20 and above to party together for an opportunity to obtain special items in a team survival of 36 rounds.

Everyone will need an 'Abyss Curtain' to access this run. You can receive 2 a day from your mailbox by talking to [Warehouse NPC] Dark Priestess Mio in the safe zone of Dark Lair.

At certain rounds of the team survival, players can earn titles as rewards that add superior status. The team survival ends when everyone in the party is defeated, and your team score will automatically be added to the server team survival rankings. The white 'Nightmare Crystal Fragments' that are earned at the end of the team survival have no other purpose than to be NPCed for money.

HP/MP items and revives are not usable.

***A Paladin, 1 or 2 Force User(s), 1 or 2 Priest(s), and/or Bowmaster is the highly recommended formation of your party for Dark Lair.***

Apparently there are 6 different modes in Dark Lair Team Survival Game.

Round 16 - 25

Round 26-34

Almighty Acrobat Skill Build

An acrobat virtually needs all the skills to be effective, however my thoughts about why to max some skills or why to take other skills is explained below.

Archer part:

TWIN SHOT - Max it. It is the skill you spam the most, both in PVP and PVE. Each level increases the range of the skill, so you can use it from farther away. A twin shot +damage heraldry is recommended.

TUMBLE , URGENCY TRICK & AERIAL EVASION - Max them. An acrobat relies on evasion skills. They should be maxed, no questions asked.

MULTI SHOT - Max it. As your attack rises, multi shot also does a lot of damage, both in PVP and PVE. I think that it's the best skill where to spend your SP in the Archer part.

MAGIC ARROW - Lv1. Some people would say  "Almighty you noob, why would an acrobat need magic arrow?" Well, in PVP, when you have an opponent on the ground and all your skills are on cooldown, magic arrow can help you to continue your combo and enable you to finish off your opponent. Not being able to continue your combo means death, so you need every skill available. Also, in PVE, it is useful against enemies like skeletons, because it doesn't break them up, even though the damage is low.

Acrobat Part:

SPIRIT FLAME: Lv 1. That skill is pretty useful to shoot from afar; it also can knock down your opponent.

NEBULA CHAINS & SPINNING TOPS: Max them. A Nebula Chains cool down heraldry is also recommended to further reduce cooldown. Those two are very important evasion skills, you use them as often as possible.

CIRCLE SHOT &  ROTATING ARROW DISSIPATION: Get them. Both of them. I have heard some people say that they want to skip circle shot, and frankly I think that those people have no idea of what they're saying. Circle shot enables you to dodge virtually all the skills in PVP, and knocking back your opponent. Rotating arrow dissipation can help you recover when your other evasion skills are on cool down.

SHORT BOW MASTERY: Max it. Damage and range is always good.

SPIRAL EDGE. As for ultimate skill, I would recommend to take this one. The casting time is really short, and it does great damage in a single blow. The astral illusions ultimate takes ages to finish, and even though you are invulnerable, it is still not as flexible as spiral edge. The cooldown is longer too.

SPIRAL VORTEX: Max it. It doesn't take that much SP and the damage increase is noticeable.

Xian's PVP/PVE Bowmaster / Sniper Build

Why Bow-Master/Sniper?
Snipers have the highest critical rate/resist due to their high natural Agility (main stat). This results in them being one of the best (or one  of the best) DPS classes in DN. Additionally, they also have the furthest range!!

So if you’re looking for some PEWPEW or sniping people off in group PVP. SNIPER IS FOR YOU!

Dragon Nest NPC Frienship System and Gifts Guide

I. What is the Friendship system?
The Friendship system is like a dating sim type of system inside this game. This system has many benefits which will be listed down below.

II. How do I up an NPC’s Affection Bar?

An NPC’s affection bar can be increased in three ways: Gifting, Quests, and Conversations.
Gifting is an option when talking to an NPCs after you have accomplished a certain feat. Irine is the first person you are able to form a friendship with. There are many different types of accomplishments you must first do before being able to befriend an NPC. e.g. To befriend May, you must acquire 100g. You can tell which NPC you are able to befriend when you see a pink heart in a bubble above their heads. This bubble strongly resembles the quest bubble and is hard to miss. It also shows up when you enlarge the Map(Default Button: M), so check the map whenever you can to make sure you haven’t missed anything. Gifting an NPC also has an added effect of increasing other NPC’s Affection bars. e.g. Gifting Irine will also up Kevin’s and Lily’s Affection bars. Note that this increase for other NPCs is minuscule. (About .01~.03)
NOTE: The Pink Heart bubble may not show up, so make sure you have accomplished what you need to do to befriend the NPC and check their quests even if there is no Pink Heart bubble. Credits to Lexalise for this information!
You can see what you must do to befriend a certain NPC by clicking on their portrait in the Friendship menu(Default Button: Y).
Doing certain quest lines will increase NPC’s affection. May has a rather long quest line that boosts her Affection up by like 3% for every quest finished. Irine and Lena will also have quest line sto boost their affection once Saint Haven dungeons have been released.
NOTE:  Not all NPCs have quest lines that will boost their Affection bars
New conversations with NPCs are unlocked once their Friendship rating has reached a certain point. In other words, you MUST do gifts or quests in order to unlock new conversations. Answering correctly for NPC special chats also increases their Affection by ~2% or so. Answering wrongly increases their Aversion rate by 10 ~ 20%.
III. What is Aversion?
Aversion, in other words, hate, is a bar that increases whenever you do something that the NPC does not like. e.g. Gifting Bailey will increase May’s Aversion bar. Once Aversion reaches 100%, both the Aversion and Affection bar reset to 0%. Aversion drops whenever you gift the NPC. Each gift takes off about 2%(?). I’m not sure if different gifts take off different amounts of Aversion though.

IV. When are new Conversations unlocked?

I believe that it’s different for each NPC, but make sure you check after gifting them a few times. New conversations will not expire nor will they be overwritten by newer conversations, so it’s unnecessary to pause and check for new conversations in the middle of gifting a large number of items.
V. What are the benefits from gifting?
I believe it’s random, but gifting an NPC has a chance of that NPC sending you items in the mail. These items include but are not limited to: 3 Crude [Insert any jewel here], 1-3 Iron, 1 Crude Onyx, and 1-3 Amber. Iron and Amber only exist to be sold pretty much.
At 30% friendship rating, chat with the NPC and they will give you a gift that holds a special meaning to them, such as Kevin’s Old Goggles or Irine’s Handkerchief. Keeping this special gift in your inventory while gifting to the NPC that gave you this gift will increase the amount of Affection per gift. Their special gifts can be NPC’d for about 1.5g once you have maxed out the NPC’s affection. At 60%, chat with them again and they will give you their Memory Regenerator. These Memory Regenerators, when right clicked, just allow you to hear the NPC’s voice. These sell for around 4.5g at the NPC. Memory Regenerators only take up space, so unless you have a special place in your heart for a certain NPC, then it’s best to just sell off the Memory Regenerator to a NPC.
In addition to the above, certain NPCs have side benefits should you befriend them as well. If befriending May, then any items you sell to her will increase in price and any items you buy from her will decrease in price, saving and netting you more money in the long run. Should you choose to befriend Bailey, then the gold cost for crafting Crests and the Dimensional Fragment cost for buying Skill Plate Pouches will lower dramatically, saving you money and allowing you to buy more Skill Plate Pouches for a lower amount of Dimensional Fragments. This system, however, has not been implemented in the NA version of Dragon Nest.
V. Where can I find gifts?
Higher quality Gifts can be found from Dimensional Rabbits at the end of an Abyss run and lower quality Gifts are dropped by mobs in any dungeon run. From what I’ve seen, the gift drop rate from normal mobs is much higher in Masters than it is in Abyss. However, Abyss runs guarantee you at least one higher quality gift from the Dimensional Rabbit at the end.
Gifts can also be crafted at the Blacksmith in the “General Goods” section. These crafted gifts are actually what drops in certain dungeons at the end of Abyss runs in the SILVER Dimensional Rabbit’s Box. They also require two lower quality Gifts to make. e.g. Sponge Cake = Honey + Pie Crumbs.
Epic tier gifts are acquired from the Splendid Theme Park, which has not been implemented yet in the NA version.
Dimensional Rabbit Gifts and Gifts dropped my mobs are specific to a certain “group” of dungeons. Notice how dungeons such as Valley of Mourning and Dead Man’s Road are grouped together in the Dead Man’s Pass’ dungeon select screen? This is what I mean by a “group” of dungeons.

SPECIFIC GIFT LOCATIONS:

Format:
Dungeon Group (Dungeons this group includes. Any dungeons under level 8 will NOT drop any gifts from mobs anddo not have an Abyss Mode for Gifts to drop from Dimensional Rabbits):
Gift item (Location Dropped) – NPCs that correspond to gift
NOTE: Gift items will be color coded and these colors will be the same as the border color of the Gift, which represents the quality/tier of the Gift : D Grade, C Grade, B Grade, A Grade.
B Grade Gifts will up an NPC’s Affection the most out of all the other potential Gifts, but A Grade items will up an NPC’s Affection and ignore all potential chain reactions at the same time. e.g. Gifting Bailey the Saliana Album Limited Edition will NOT affect Deckard’s Affection bar nor will it affect May’s Aversion bar.
Thanks to chaose5 and perfecti for helping me out with information on A Grade gifts!

NOTE
: Dungeon groups that include dungeons that are level 8 or below will NOT have any mob gift drops, so avoid these areas if trying to farm for easy gifts. These groups with level 8- dungeons will still have Dimensional Bunny drops if there is an Abyss mode in any of the dungeons in the group. e.g. Catacombs Access has both Catacombs (level 5) and Inner Catacombs (level 18) and thus, mobs will not drop any gifts. However, Inner Catacombs has an Abyss Mode and therefore you are able to get gifts from this dungeon from dimensional Rabbits that appear at the end of an Abyss run.

After reaching 90% with certain NPCs, talk with them in the chat menu to find a new option. Choosing this option will get you a ‘Bromide’ and once you accept this gift, you will be able to look at the NPC’s special picture any time you want in your Friendship Album.

VII. Alliance Points

You might have noticed an Alliance tab on your Friendship Menu. This lists out the number of points you have received for gifting NPCs of certain factions. You can click on a certain faction’s section to see what benefits they each give out. There are certain benefits such as being able to trade alliance points for equipment or pouches that contain a wealth of useful items. Each NPC is part of a certain faction and you can see which faction they are in by hovering your mouse over the icon on the top right corner of their entry in the Friendship tab. This is one of the main reasons why you should target certain NPCs over others. NPCs who have no union are usually left out by most players since these NPCs have one less benefit than other NPCs do. e.g. Gifting Lily or Invisible Thief gets you no Alliance Points and thus it would be a better idea to use gifts that target NPCs who are not in Unions on NPCs that are in Unions.

Chaos Majesty PVE Build (Force User)

This is a detailed guide for Chaos Majesty's PVE Build

9th of June update, “A New Departure” will bring forth the new second job advance for all classes. A Force User can advance into either a Majesty or a Smasher. Majesty will focus on the dark skill line while Smasher will go down the Laser skill line.

After seeing the disappointing effect of Arcane, my natural choice is Majesty.  My proposed build is a PVE build, taking on supportive and disabling roles in nest party, while dealing decent damage with mostly dark elemental skills.

Majesty Build

Skill description:

Sorceress Tree:
* Glacial Spike: Lv1. Glacial spike is a great DPS skill, with short cd, long range, chance to freeze, and short casting time. Note that while being frozen, damage deal to the target is amplified 1.5x (even on nest bosses). Also, it deals double damage on big-size boss . However, due to SP constraint, I choose not to max this skill.
* Poison Cloud (Toxic Spray) : Max at Lv16. It is one of the best skill in sorceress tree. Fast casting, multiple hit, short cooldown (cd) and dark damage attribute.  Poison cloud, micro-hole, black hole and gravity ball are dark attribute skill and the damage can be boosted with % dark elemental attack stats.
* Force Explosion: Lv3. Fast casting, long range nuke. Keep at lv3 as a prerequisite for the dark skill line.
* Shockwave: Lv2, as prerequisite for laser-tree skill. Great for pushing away nearby mobs.
* Meditation (Mana Flow): Max at Lv1. No need SP to learn. A party buff that reduces MP consumption by 20%.
* Counter Spell (Rising Blast): Max at Lv1. Good for standing up fast after you are down. Give you a small window of invincibility too.
* Aerial Evasion:  Lv3. Good for regain position after you are floated in the air.
* Physical Mastery (Health Booster): Lv4. Hp is always good. Not maxed due to SP constraint.
* Blink: Max at Lv5. Shortest cd is required. Eraser, Microhole, Gravity Ascension and Gravity Switch can be cancelled half way during casting by blinking. This improves the flexibility of the these skills tremendously.
* Escape (Power Blink): Max at Lv5.
* Mental Mastery (Mental Fortitude) : Max at Lv2. Increase Max MP.
* Mental Training (Attuned Mind): Max at Lv1. Increase MP regen. MP is a big problem in long dungeon such as Sea Dragon Nest or darklair. MP regen enhancement ensures you have enough MP to cast skills. Choose to keep it at lv1 because soon, special food can be consumed in Sea Dragon Nest to recover MP.

Force User Tree:
* Gravity Ball (Gravity Blast): Max at Lv12. Add a 20% damage inc A crest to boost its damage would be a good idea.Short cd, spammable skill. Notice that the ball deals 2 type of damages. While the ball is travelling, it deals small damage to whatever it touches. However, after a certain duration and/ or when the ball hit  any obstables/floor, it will explode and deal a high amount of damage. After learning Gravity Ball EX, this skill gained a 60% damage boost,  and becomes the best damaging skill for a Majesty.
* Gravity Lance (Gravity Spark): Lv1. Dark attribute. Short cd, fast casting and SUPER long range. Left click after you blink or teleport to activate. Can be chained easily into microholes for additional damage. It also serves a convenient and quick damage booster after an evasion blink in boss battle. It deals a max of 3 hits on a single target, and need to be aimed at the base/feet of the target to deal the maximum damage.
* Microholes (Triple Orbs): Max at Lv12. Damage is fantastic. It is one of the best DPS skill for force user. You can cancel it halfway by blinking. Very flexible. Dark attribute.
* Black Hole: Lv4. This skill is not a DPS skill, but rather a crowd control skill to gather mobs. Dark attribute. I decide to increase it to lvl4 to double the size of the black hole and maximize the suction power. However, the skill still suffers from slow casting and long cd.
*Summon Comet:lv5. This skill has very large AOE and serves to replace Spectrum Shower as mobs clearing skill. Although the damage is lower than spectrum shower, the casting time and cooldown is shorter. It combos very well with a lv4 blackhole too.  At lvl5, the size of the comet is doubled. This skills has high superarmor breaking ability too.
*Gravity Ascension (Gravity Crush):Lv3. Dark attribute has been given to this skill recently. However, this skill is still not a good DPS skill. This skill is useful in disabling small mobs and certain bosses in nest such as black smokes in Apocalypse nest and Golem in Manticore nest. It also has very high superarmor destruction ability and good in breaking the walls and stones in Apocalypse nest (hellmode).
*Meteor Swarm (Meteor Storm):Lv1. This skill has bigger AOE and higher damage as compared to Eraser. It also has very high superarmor destruction ability and can break the superarmor  of some bosses in nest, such as medusa and golem in manticore nest. Some might think that it is not as flexible as the other lv40 ultimate: Eraser because it can't be cancel half way during its 8.5sec of casting time.
TIPS: You can actually cancel meteor swarm by a simple trick. Press ESC and click "Escape from abnormal coordinate" or type /escape (you can copy and paste too)

* Linear ray: Lv1. Long range, moderate damage, slow cast, multi-hit. No elemental attribute (similar to spectrum shower and Eraser, as opposed to popular believes that these are light attribute skills).
* Force Wave (Void Blast): Lv1. Right click after you blink OR teleport. Low damage, but good for interruption and cancel others skill. In PVP, it causes your opponent to stagger, which means you can quickly sneak in a simple normal attack to knock him down.
* Force Shield : Lv2. Passively activated when you are hit. Pretty useless skill but I got to learn to go down this skill tree. This passive also has a hidden ability: it helps you recover from delay whenever this shield is activated.
* Nine-tailed Laser: Lv2. A new skill for Force User in Z-mode update. Good damage if all the 9 lasers hit the target, which is easy against large-sized bosses. However, the damage is not as good against smaller size targets. It deals 2 types of damage (touch and explosive damage) and hit up to 18 hits max. The laser explodes upon contact with obstacles, wall and floor. Explosive damage is higher than touch damage. Lv2 is the prerequisite for Energy Reflection Mirror.
* Energy Reflection Mirror (Force Mirror): Lv1. This skill is one of the main reason why I choose to venture down the laser tree. Allow you to summon a mirror that increases 20% magic damage received by the surrounding targets. Last 12sec. However, what really make this skill look sexy is the ability of this skill to block various stuff in Sea Dragon Nest: Fire ball in stage 3, cerberus in stage 4, cow stampede in stage 5 and binding vine at stage 6. Not to mention, it can also block electric ogre hugging and apocalypse spinning attack in apocalypse nest.
Although Spectrum shower is a great skill to have, however, the tight SP in Force user tree prevents me to learn it. Besides, spectrum shower large AOE mobs clearing ability can be replaced with Summon Comet and the new Majesty skill: Gravity Switch.

* Teleport: Lv1. Add 20% reduce cd crest for it, which reduce the cd from 15sec to 12sec. Keep force user mobile. Right-click after teleport to activate Force Wave or Left-click for Gravity Lance.
* Time Stop: Lv5. One of the most powerful disabling skill in game. For PVE, 8.5sec of time stop at lv5. However, most bosses in nest can’t be timestopped but the first and third bosses in Archbishop Nest and first two bosses in manticore nest can be timestopped. Still very good for disabling various mobs in nest.
* Time Interruption (Time Dodge): Lv2. Left click after being hit into delay to activate a mini Time Stop. 1.5sec of time stop at lv2. Almost useless in PVE, but useful in PVP for counterattack. Lv2 is the prerequisite for Time Acceleration.
* Time Acceleration (Fast Forward): Lv3. After Z-mode patch, this skills is no longer considered as a Force User ultimate. However, it is still one of the best support skill in game. Accelerate the cooldown for all skills of all party members and yourself (not counting this skill) by 80% for 14sec at lv3. Maxing this skill give additional 1 sec  duration as compared to lvl1, which shaves additional 5 seconds CD from all skills.

Majesty Tree:
* Gravity Ball EX (Gravity Blast EX): Lv1 . Add 60% damage to gravity ball. It’s not a new skill but learning this  will enhance the gravity ball. Also, allow the gravity ball to explode three times and has very large AOE.
*Magic Steal: Lv1. Allow majesty to copy buff from target. Pretty useless for PVE, but quite good in PVP. However, it is required to learn the following skill. Note that as opposed to the skill name itself, it doesn't dispel the buff on your target.
*Gravity Switch:Lv1. This is an extremely powerful skill. It is ranked top 3 in terms of damage/casting time in all Majesty’s skill. However, the cd for this skill is abit long. It is dark elemental. Large AOE, fast casting, extremely good damage. It can be cancelled half-way by blinking away. I believe this skills is superior than Spectrum shower because it doesn't have any blink spot (spectrum shower can't hit melee range) and the damage is induced immediately after cast (spectrum shower has much slower casting time).

Skill Arrangement in Skill Panels

I have set the skill panel page change button to "G" instead of the default "~".

The 6 to 0 keys have been reassigned by me too (see figure below) for easier access.

First page is filled with fast CD and fast casting skills, which i use very often.
First page: 1-Poison Cloud, 2-Shockwave, 3-Microholes, 4-Nine-tailed laser, 5-Mirror, Q-Timestop, E-Gravity Ball, R-Summon Comet, F-Teleport, C-Glacial Spike

The second page is filled with longer cd and/or slower casting skills.
Second page: 1-Meditation, 2-Meteor Swarm, 3-Dark Energy Ball, 4-Linear Ray, 5-Magic Steal, Q-Gravity Switch, E-Force Explosion, R-Blackhole, F-Gravity Ascension, C-Time Acceleration.

I have set Pick Item to X, Revive to Z, Auto run to V, and Reverse Camera-B

Skill Crest combination:
The choice of skill crests for Gravity ball, microhole and poison cloud are pretty obvious because they are the best damage skills for a Majesty with fairly short cd. Teleport is added because of my personal preference because I like to teleport a lot and sometimes, the ability to teleport at crucial moment means life or death.

Poison Cloud - dmg inc 20%
Gravity Ball - dmg inc 20%
Teleport - reduce cooldown 20%
Microhole - dmg inc 20%

Dark manticore - Dark Energy Ball skill
* This skill is more useful compared to other boss skills because it has super long range and it has high superarmor breaking ability. Extremely useful in Sea Dragon Nest to break Ice in Stage 7 and Vine Grip in Stage 6.

How to get Gravity Ball and Teleport A-ranked crest easily
* The answer is "Dimensional Shards". Use 800 shards to exchange for a Force User lv 16 below crest bag at the scholar NPC.  This bag basically give you a random A skill crest for Force User. But wait a moment, there are only 3 skills below lv 16 for Force user: Gravity ball, Linear Ray and Teleport. This means that you have 2/3 chance of getting the crest you want through this method.

PVP
Many readers have asked me about using this build for PVP.

Although i seldom PVP, i do know the key concept for a PVP majesty. To modify the skill build for PVP purpose, simply delevel the BlackHole or remove Glacial Spike to put some SP into Air Kick (Hammer Strike) skill and you should do well in PVP.

Air Kick is commonly used in conjuction with time stop or time interruption to down your opponent, and then start your combo. However, if your opponent is casting a skill just before time stop/interruption, additional superarmor will stay on him and you will not be able to down him with a weak superarmor break skills such as Air Kick. In that case, you will have to opt to higher superarmor break skills such as Summon Comet.

Another important combo starter for PVP is, Blink/Teleport -> Force Wave -> Normal Attack, which will also down your opponent if he has no superarmor/counter attack/blink. The reason why this build is suitable for PVP too, is because you have Force Wave which is rarely pick up by other PVE build. Not to mention, i have added a Teleport Plate which reduces the CD and allows you to be very mobile in PVP.

Typical PVP chain combo normally involves, Gravity ball (imba damage and cd), poison cloud to make sure opponent stays down longer, microholes with just 1 or 2 balls, gravity lance to push the opponent from the 1st ball to the 2nd ball for additional damage, Summon Comet to down your opponent, Gravity Switch for high damage and float, Gravity Ascension and Meteor Swarm to make sure your opponent cannot escape and stays down. And of course, time acceleraton and time stop are extremely powerful in PVP.

In my opinion, Majesty is one of the most powerful female char in PVP, if she is controlled by a skilled player.
